As we explained at the top of the sign-up form in the section ‘What You Get‘ regular members cannot initiate email contact with other members. As a regular member, you can only reply to gold members who have contacted you by email first.
To initiate email contact with other members, you need to become a gold member. You can quickly and easily upgrade to a gold membership and initiate up to 40 emails per day here. For more information, please see the membership FAQ’s.
If you stay as a regular member, you can check for messages from other members at your email address . If a gold member contacts you, you can reply for free. You can also exchange languages in the public forums such as the Group chat for free.
